Confidence in yourself, satisfaction in a job well-done, open self-acceptance – all of those might fall under the category of being proud, and those are generally good things! But taken too far, pride can make things difficult; too much pride might stop you from accepting help, be off-putting to friends or family, or even turn into dangerous overconfidence.
